Legal & General Mortgage Services has hired Jane Simpson as a strategic relationship manager.
Simpson joins from Paragon Bank where she worked for a short period as a national account manager.
Before that she worked at Cardiff-based mortgage broker firm TBMC for 18 years, leaving as managing director in October.
This company was closed down last year by its parent Paragon, following a review.
Legal & General Mortgage Services director of distribution and mortgage club Clare Beardmore says: “Jane will help to support a portfolio of fantastic lenders in relation to all three strands of L&G Mortgage Services — our mortgage club, surveying services, and technology arm.
“We were keen to welcome Jane to our brilliant team to help evolve our relationships with lenders and ultimately add value to brokers.”
Cunnington works alongside Paula Matthews, who was previously strategic relationship director at Legal & General Surveying Services.
Prior to joining Legal & General, Cunnington was chief operating officer at LDN Finance, where he worked for two years.
