Santander appoints three new BDMs

Santander for Intermediaries has added three new business development managers to its team.

Kelly Mortiboys has been at Santander for six years and will now take up the role of supporting brokers in the East Midlands.

Chantelle Williams has been appointed to cover the North West region and previously worked within the retail and private banking division of RBS.

The third new BDM is Katie May who will work with brokers in the Berkshire & Wiltshire area. May Before worked at an IFA firm prior to joining Santander and has also held a BDM role at specialist lender Castle Trust.

    Santander could do themselves a favour by introducing tiered penalties on their five-year fixed rates. A level 5% penalty is out of step with the rest of the market.
