Brokers must resubmit Accord cases after IT glitch

Computer problems stopped brokers submitting mortgages to specialist lender Accord last week.

The problems occurred on January 26. For almost the entire working day Accord was unable to access documents that brokers had uploaded onto the lender’s system.

Accord – part of the Yorkshire Building Society – is asking brokers to resubmit this information, in order for these mortgage cases to be processed.

An Accord spokesman said: “We experienced an issue with the way brokers upload documents to our secure portal on Friday January 26.

“We immediately worked to resolve this issue. However any brokers who sent documents to us between 9.50am and 7.20pm will need to resubmit this information.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
