TSB confirms rate changes from beginning of March

TSB has announced rate changes with effect from Friday 1 March to its residential, buy to let, product transfer and additional borrowing ranges.

This includes selected product withdrawals and reintroductions.

For buy to let it is reintroducing:

Two and five-year fixed 0-75% LTV £0 fee house purchase products

With regard to product transfer; TSB is withdrawing residential 10-year fixed products

For residential TSB is increasing rates on:

  • Three Year Fixed First Time Buyer and Home Mover 0-60% and 75-90% LTV, by 0.10%
  • Three Year Fixed Remortgage 0-75% LTV, by 0.15%

It is also increasing rates on residential two, three and fixed 0-75% LTV, by up to 0.25%

It is reducing rates on:

  • Residential two-year tracker 85-90% LTV, by 1.05%
  • Buy to let two-year fixed 75-120% LTV, by up to 0.50%

Commenting on the latest rate changes John Charcol mortgage technical manager Nicholas Mendes said: “This recent reprice from TSB highlights similar activity amongst lender of making small adjustment to continue to win business and reducing the impact of higher rates to mortgage holders as much as possible”.
