TMG Mortgage Network has launched a protection division, TMG Protect.
The division will be headed up by industry starlet Donna Ambler, who has recently joined as head of protection.
The network said Ambler, with over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the division.
It added that the strategic decision gives further support to its members to not only be able to refer their business internally but more importantly is designed to give them support and training to improve their skill sets.
Ambler will work closely with provider partners to help members navigate the complexities of insurance products and deliver the regulator’s expectation on the Consumer Duty.
Commenting on the appointment, Donna Ambler said: “I am extremely excited to be heading up TMG Protect, this will provide us with a mechanism of really delivering the FCA’s Consumer Duty and taking the whole concept of treating our customers fairly to the next level.”
