Brightstar bolsters team with raft of new appointments

Brightstar Group has made two senior promotions and three hires as the specialist lender “strengthens its team” for the year ahead.

The firm has appointed Chantelle May as group head of sales support, who will run the Brightstar Financial and Sirius sales support teams.

May joined Brightstar as a case manager in 2018 and has twice been promoted during her time at the business.

The move comes after Brightstar reacquired its shareholding in Sirius for an undisclosed sum last month, making the property advisor a wholly-owned subsidiary of the group.

The group has also promoted Andy Cappaert as group head of national accounts, who will in addition lead business development strategy. Cappaert joined the business as a national account manager in 2021.

It has also hired three team administrators: Rianna Byom, Connor Lam and Paul Killington.

Killington was previously an apprentice at the business, and is the seventh member of staff have joined the group through this route.

Brightstar Group chief executive Rob Jupp (pictured) says: “These changes will give Brightstar an excellent foundation to continue the growth of the group across Brightstar Financial, Sirius and our recently launched insurance brokerage.”
